    To come with noble Sarsfield our hero once in bloom
    And asking for the password says Sarsfield "I'm your man
    "And here we are our General cried as down on them we ran
    The great God cleared the firmament 'twas the moon and stars gave light
    And 'twas for the battle of the Boyne we had revenge that night

    Having slain them all brave Sarsfield he bade us take our stores
    Our baggage bags and cartridges our guns and arms galore
    We took them to the castle walls and placed them peaceful by
