One night a man was coming from Orlar and as he came towards this bridge he saw a black object in the form of a sow before him. He was a very pious man and blessed himself and began to pray. He then in special words in Irish begged the animal to let him pass from all harm. No sooner were the words said than the sow moved slowly from the middle to the side
