    carrigeen syrup, and put about six spoons of sugar into it. Stir up and place the sauce-pan on the fire, and boil slowly for over five minutes Then lift the sauce-pan, and put the syrup, which will be thin into a bottle, and place an airtight cork into it. Leave the bottle aside for two days. Shake before using, then take a half glass three times a day and your cold will soon disappear.
