  1. A good cure for a toothache is. Get a cup, put two spoonfuls of coarse salt into it, and half fill the cup with hot water. Stir well until the salt is melted, then take a mouthful if it, and keep it on the side of your mouth, that the bad tooth is for about five minutes.
    Then spit out the water, and repeat taking mouthfuls until the cupful is used. It will draw all the bad water from the tooth, and ease the pain for some time.
