  1. There was a man once, and his name was Páidín Buide Ó Máílle. He was married, but had no family, and he was very poor. He was dreaming that if he went to London Bridge in England he would get his fortune.
    So one morning he said to his Wife. "I'm going to London Bridge to get my fortune". Away he started, for London, stood on the Bridge for a while, and walked up and down the Bridge all day, and no one came near him; the second day he did the same, and not one noticed him. On the third day, a little lame tailor who lived opposite the Bridge came out, and
