  1. I heard one of our villagers tell a story the other night, this is it. "Three brothers lived in the same house, in the village of Laughloon, the eldest John, the second Mick, and the third Tom. In another village three sisters lived with their father, the eldest Mary, the second Nora, and the youngest Anne.
    Mary had a bad temper, and Tom came, asked her to marry him, but on being told of her bad tempter he took Anne, and married her. Now Mick's jealousy was aroused and he went to get Mary, but once again he was refused, and he likewise took Nora in marriage.
    Now John was left
