    wait. The shoemaker gave him a chair to sit on and he stuck to the chair. When he got the boots on the shoemaker let him start home. He said he wouldn't wear the boots to school and went off without them. They followed him and he had to put them on. The next day he said he wouldn't wear them. Every step he made the boots stepped after him so he had to put them on. He became more obedient every day and by the time the boots were worn out he was the most obedient boy in the village.
