  1. The Landlord

There was a landlord at one time living near Kilrush by the name of Vandeluer.

There was a landlord at one time living near Kilrush by the name of Vandeluer. It happened this day that a priest was passing by his house and he got thirsty and he went to get a drink form the well but the landlord came out to stop him from taking the water but the priest said he would get and at that moment the well went from the place where it had being before and the priest found water to drink and the well is still to be seen.
There was a man at one time who had lost his walk for so many years and he went to several doctors and he could not be cured. So this night he dreamt of Our Lady's Well and he said he would go this well what ever way he would get there. So this day he made up his mind to go to the well and when he reached it he could not perform the rounds but he sat near it and prayed and he was not like near it when he found he could walk without the crutches and he came again the next year and he could walk perfectly and he is still living.
