  1. One spring day about 100 years ago an old farmer who was ploughing in Corryrourke saw a queer looking old horse standing on the headland.
    He yoked him in the plough and he was far better than his own horses. The man kept him some years and then one day he put him under the cart to go to Mullagh.
    As he was passing the lake the horse lay down. The man loosened him and the horse dived into the lake and disappeared.
