    There are many stories told about the Holy Family. Here are some I collected from my father and grandfather. When the holy family were going to Egypt they rested at a certain place for the night and in the morning there was a cherry tree at that place and water sprung up for those who are thirsty and are wandering around the desert.
    There is a story told that the neighbouring women used to come in and familiarly with the Blessed Virgin and ask her if she would let out the little Jesus to play. He would look at her to ask if He might go.
    There is another story told how one day the Holy Family went in to a robbers house and asked for lodging. The woman welcomed them and made them
