  1. There are no fairy forts nearer than a mile and a half to the school. It is in the townland of Woodfield and the fort is called Lismagarra. It is one mile North of Clara and half a mile from the road. Thomas Egan owns the field in which it is in.
    The fort is in a circular shape. There is a fence of trees all around it and there is a small hole for entrance. I never heard of anyone who wend down into it. No one knows who built it.
    The owner of the land never interfered with the fort. There is no story connected with it. A few years ago one night Thomas Nugent
