    sandy hill and people say that he built a church there. It cannot be tilled but of course it is too sandy.
    It is said that St. Kieran had a cow the people stole it from him and were boiling it in a pot but St. Kieran hit the pot with with his whip and the cow leaped out. People say that St. Kieran cursed Faheran. He said that there would never be a priest in any family. He said that his curse would be on the place where a stone fell. It was flung from Clonmacnoise] and it lit on Faheran.
