  1. Superstitions connected with Churnings
    In different parts of this country especially Connaught in Roscommon on the border of Athlone is the worst parts for believing in spells and charms and between Meath and Westmeath.
    The churning is one which there is a lot attached to. First before churning they put a coal under the churn and they put a pinch of salt in the milk. They start then.
