  1. If a person is churning in his house and nobody should come in and go out again without giving him a hand with it. If he does it is said there will be no butter, because he is supposed to bring it with him.
    If any man came in to a house where a churing would be going on, the people of the house would not let him take a coal out of the fire and bring it out side. He must have his pipe smoked before going out, and he must give the churn a twist also to put luck on the butter
