    Story of the Famine Times in Turin district - the story was told to my teacher by an old parishioner, John Connor - now dead - who lived to be 96 years and died 1926.
    When famine and disease strode through this land, in this district, to try to help the starving parishioners one of England commanding officers planned the making of roads through and around Killynon ranch. He was a good man and although there was not
