  1. A man named Crommy was murdered at Carlons gate a short distance from the village of Kilmessan. There are still blood stains seen on the stone.
    A man named Thomas Smyth was bound by local men during the time of the Black and Tans. He was a spy who was returning home from Navan when these men rushed out and bound him. They then brought him down to the Boyne and threw him in.
    A field on the Trim Longwood road which now belongs to a man named Keegan. A battle took place in this field many years ago.
