  1. There is a Mass rock on Halligan's land Mollyash where in the Penal days the Hunted Priests said Mass. The men took turns of Watching. They could see soldiers coming in all directions for miles away.
    There are two old forts on this hill also. The Mass Rock is at the back of a ditch on the North side. South west of this hill, there is another hill called Dunmore still higher where there is a giant's grave. This hill got its name from an old Dun on the hill. There is a deep ditch around the ruins.
