  1. There lived in this district about sixty years ago a man named Michael Reily. He was known locally as a very fast runner.
    My Uncle says that one day he, Michael Reily and a few other men were reaping in a field at Dunany.
    While drinking the tea at one end of the field a hare jumped out of the ditch beside Michael Reily. Michael sprang to his feet and ran after her, and in a race to the opposite ditch of a ten acre field he caught the hare in his hand.
