    Rath is built there also, and just on the boundary is a farm known as Cragree. The ruins of the old church stands also adjoining it. In Carnane is a mass rock where Father Griffin used to offer mass in the penal days and later in the old church referred to which contains the bodies of Father Griffin and Father Finnucane. There was no catholic church in Corofin at that time.
