  1. Our domestic and farm animals are horses, cows, sheep, goats, ducks, hens and turkeys.
    The names of our cows are Peggie, Nellie, Rosey, Polly, Kerry, Coppy, Strawberry, Lassie, Bluebell, and Bawney.
    We say "How! How!" when we are driving in and out the cows. The cowhouse is called a stall. It is built of stone and the roof is slated.
    The cows are tied in the stalls by means of chains. Some cows that are very wild are tied from leg to horn in the fields.
    The tyings are mostly made of rope and chain. Sometimes there are medals in the cowhouse to bring luck on the stock.
    Cows are milked morning and evening. In Winter they are housed in. Then they are fed on straw and hay and mangolds. Horses are also housed
