    On your lovely waters Dumanus Bay.

    Twas grand to sail from this charming vale,
    And to cross the Bay for that flowery glen,
    Neat Ahakista with royal vista,
    You're Queen and mistress of Harbours end.
    From Spain to Sweden there is no eden,
    Your groves to equal so bright and gay,
    Those sylvan beauties are like the rubies,
    On your lovely waters Dunmanus Bay.

    The sun is smiling on Carbery Island,
    His beams are bright on Kilcrohan strand,
    With rays adorning the Sabbath morning,
    In Rippling water the bay is grand,
    A bell is tolling its echoes rolling,
    Across the ocean a magic sound,
    Where'er you wander there is nothing grander,
    Then going to Mass in the Holy-Ground.

    Let the Briton boast of his armed coast,
    and Venice toast to old Adrid's sea,
    While this emerald creek crowned with shamrock meek,
    Outshines an emblem of sanctity,
    With caves and inlets and meandering streamlets,
    And Canty's cove where the lambking lay,
