    Bhí fir oibhre ag deisiú bóthair ar an dtaobh eile de'n cúan agus chonnacadar mar bheadh ean mór dubh ag eitilt cucha.
    Tháinig an Saghart agus an Capall anuas go h-éadtrom ar lic (Flag) abhí ar taobh an bhóthair. Níor bhain dada do aoinne aca.
    Tá rian an fiup agus rian glúna an capall le feiscint ann fós.

    N.B. It is also said that years ago road repairers removed this stone from the roadside and placed it nearer the fence; and that on the following morning the stone was firmly 'planted' in the original position.
