  1. The Old Graveyards 27.11.'38
    There are four church yards in this parish. There is one in Errill and it is in the townland of Errill. The other is in Coolkerry in the townland of Coolkerry. There is another one in Cloneve and it is in the townland of Cloneve. The fourth is in Rathdowney in the townland of Belady.
    The church yard in Rathdowney is about a quarter of a mile from the town. It is square. It is very level and there are no trees growing in it. There are no old tombs or monuments in it. The late parish priest of Rathdowney Dean Brennan was buried there. Half of the graveyard is reserved for protestants and it is separated by a path from the other part. The church yard is comparatively new having been made about thirty years ago.
    The one in Errill is a very short distance from the school. It contains the ruins of an old
