    There they saw the bodies of the clan, and they missed "Eibhlín Na nGadhar" and the sword with the silve blade. They then knew that the cause of the bloody slaughter was that the men of Clare wanted to get the sword.
    They then set out across the Shannon and on a rock they saw the dead body of a girl who was washed ashore. This was the body of "Eibhlin na nGadhar".
