    1. A blue light appears in the fire.
    2. When the curlews are calling.
    3. When the cat is near the fire.
    4. The sun gets dim, and a yellow ring appears around it.
    5. Fog on the mountains.
    6. The birds and insects flying very low
    7. When the soot gets soft and begins to fall.
    The following signs are for snow:-
    1. The wild ducks and wild geese flying to the south.
    2. Cold, bright nights.
    3. Cold, north winds blowing.
