    6. The tinkers also say horse-hair, and feathers, and broken wool, asses and horses. They are always going from fair, to fair. Like the gipsies they are very troublesome.
    7. The men of the tinkers are no pity at all, as they are well able to look out for them-selves, and drink lots of porter but the women with their little babies, in their arms, put people should be kind to them as far as they are able. But they as well as the men are able to drink porter and whiskey.
