  1. I only know of one very old and valuable Irish boom in this parish. It is in the possession of Mr Hugh O'Donnell Rooskey. It was found by his Grandfather in a cave or subterranean passage which runs under his farm. Mr.O'Donnell was offered a large sum of money for it but he refused to part with it.
    There was also another cave discovered running under the farm of Mr J. Bradley Cleagh, Glenhouse. There was some treasure found in it also, but I cant find out what it was.
