    1. When we see the blackbirds and thrushes hopping from stone to stone along the roads it is a sign of cold weather, and when we see the wild geese flying low near the mountains it is a sign of hard, cold, frosty weather. - Sign of hard weather.

    5. When the birds are flying high, and then come down and fly low it is the sign of rain.
    6. To have the mountains full of white fluffy clouds is the sign of storm.
    7. When the sky is dark and heavy it is a sign of thunder.
