    Long ago when Halloween would come the people would light big-fires and leave them burning there all night.
    They used to tie a piece of twine out of the ceiling and tie an apple at the end of it. Then some persons blindfolded and hands tied behind their backs would try to catch the apple and take a bite of it. Boys used to get boards and leave them standing up against other people's doors. Then they would rap at the door and run away
