    marriage is arranged by the parents of the girl and boy other marriages are fixed up by the boy and girl. If the girl goes to live in the house of the boy's parent's they except her to have a fortune or dowry of one hundred pounds or more, if the boy goes to live in the house of the girl he is expected to get the same amount of money. Going to the chapel the boy goes first on horseback and the girl goes behind her brother or father or some friend on horseback. Leaving the chapel after been married the girl tries to be out first the door so that she would live longer than her husband. Going home after been married the girl rides behind her husband on horseback. They race home. That night there is a wedding a big crowd gather.
