    The name of the townland in which I live is Thawnaslinnaun. It is in the parish of Murrisk. There are seven families in my townland, and there are twenty nine people in it.
    The family name most common is Hastings. All the houses are thatched except one house. It is a green, sloping village and that is why it is called Thawnaslinnaun. There are two men living in this village and there are over
