    The name of my townland is Tamhnach Shlinneáin. The name of the parish is Aughavale and it in the barnoy of Murrisk. There are 29 people in my townland. The family name most common is Hasting’s. All the houses are thatched except one house. This is why it is called Tamhnach Shlinneáin. It is a green sloping townland.
    There are two men over 70 yrs. Both of then are able to tell stories in Irish & English. Their names are
