  1. "Ancient stones of this district"
    There is a very remarkable stone near the foot on Kildrum Hill.On the top of this stone there seems to be rough carving resembling a cock's foot.
    There is also a very remarkable group of five large stones in a circle with one stone in the centre standing on end at the north side of Hazelwood house.This is called "the round O".
    In a paddock at the back of Ballyhannon house is a large stone oval in shape .It is about twelve feet in width
