    Earache
    "Bah bah black sheep have you any wool".Stuff the aching ear with black wool".Stick one end of ash sapling into fire-collect sap which oozes from the other end and drop a little as can be borne into the aching ear.
    Gum boil-
    Place a partly boiled onion as hot a patient can bear on the boil for a few minutes.
    Rheumatism-
    Use as much celery as possible take exercise .Drink liquid made from stewed celery seed, salts and a flavour of whiskey .
    Chilblains-
    Paint with iodine and massage with slice of raw onion.
    Consumption -
    Infused black berry blossoms .
