"The Patron Saint of the Locality"
Long ago there was a saint living in Doora. He is the patron saint of Doora and Kilmurry Ibricken.
He was stationed in many parishes in the county. He was stationed in Doora one time and built a church there.
The name of the townland in which the saint built his church was Killbricken and it was from that saint that the townland got its name.
The ruins of the church are now marked by a grove near the church in Doora near Ennis. There is a boy in Doora called after him Bricken O 'Malley.
