    A Story
There is a fort or "Oun" in our land known as Farrengariff fort. Standing in this fort one can easily see four other forts on the surrounding hills. Many strange stories are told in connection with this fort, but here is a remarkable one which I have often heard from a next door neighbour.
It seems that before my father purchased this land it belonged to a man named Harten. Harten was in the habit of bringing home his cows in the evening to be milked. He noticed on several occasions a hare milking the cows. He was getting very annoyed about his cows. He decided to procure a gun. He was watching for the hare for many evenings but he could find no trace of her. At last one evening he caught the hare milking one of the cows. When the hare saw him she ran. he pointed his gun, and fired, and wounded the hare. Although she was badly wounded she limped away.
On the night of that same evening
