- Strong men
A man Reilly Drumseridian, Crosserlough, grandfather of the people who live there at present was going to Drumcassidy mill one day with a sack of oats. The sack contained 30 stone of oats and was placed across a horse's back.
There were no roads around the district at that time. In going across a low lying field the sack fell off the horse's back, Reilly lifted it in his arms and placed it again in position on the horse.
- There lived at one time in the parish of Crosserlough a very strong man named Michil Reilly he was known locally as mickey mor he was a weaver by trade.
A great bully journeyed the whole way from Belfast to fight mickey but mickey defeated him. He married and lived in Lavey. He was coming on a visit one day to his old home and at the foot of a great hill on the road a horse refused(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile) - Bailitheoir
