  1. Strong men
    A man Reilly Drumseridian, Crosserlough, grandfather of the people who live there at present was going to Drumcassidy mill one day with a sack of oats. The sack contained 30 stone of oats and was placed across a horse's back.
    There were no roads around the district at that time. In going across a low lying field the sack fell off the horse's back, Reilly lifted it in his arms and placed it again in position on the horse.

  2. There lived at one time in the parish of Crosserlough a very strong man named Michil Reilly he was known locally as mickey mor he was a weaver by trade.
    A great bully journeyed the whole way from Belfast to fight mickey but mickey defeated him. He married and lived in Lavey. He was coming on a visit one day to his old home and at the foot of a great hill on the road a horse refused
