Ar an leathanach seo
- There was a man by the name of Daly who lived in Ballaghanea. He had six sons, and four of them died the one day and the day of the funeral the other two died as well. The father and mother went to the funeral and they died in the graveyard.
Another man by the name of Farrelly, lost his family the same way. He lived in Cornasesk, outside Virginia, where Mrs. Daly lives now. They used to bury the people without any coffins on them. Some of the skeletons are to be found in the bogs yet.
Another woman by the name of Mrs. Farrelly died of the hunger in the years of the famine. She had two sons and they died also. This woman lived in Cornasesk. The oats failed that year too.
