  1. When we get out at play-time we eat our lunch quickly to have a long time to play. We play "Fox and chickens" for the first game. We all catch on to each other in a long line and have one big girl for a mother and another smaller one for a "Fox". The children in the line which we call the chickens say "We Dare you" to the "Fox". and he runs and tries to catch them and the mother saves them
We also play "Mile Ur Duke and Mile Ur John let them all pass by to the very last one"
We also play "Puisin a Puisin a Bernal Lough"
Then we play "Hell and Heaven"
    We also "Devil and Angel"
    We play "Hide and Seek"
On a wet day we all go into the hall and get some child's cap and pull it down over the child's eyes and face and that child is to seek the rest. This game is called "Puthog"
