  1. There was once a well in Tomas Smith's field. A woman washed clothes and dried them at it and it disappeared.
    A woman washed pants at our well and hung them to dry on the bush that grew over it and it disappeared too. My Grandfather opened a hole farther down in the field and the Spring came there.
