vanished and was never seen or heard of more.
There is another story told in connection with one of these forts. There was one big tree beside the fort and there were clothes spread on it to dry one evening and the next morning they were covered with blood. The blood could not be washed out of them so they had to be buried in the ground.
The Danes are supposed to have built these forts and some old people say that it is the fairies build them. The owners of the land where these forts are did not interfere with them with ploughing or planting crops and there are no stories told in this connection. Lights have been seen and music has been heard there.
