He gave the two bags of money to Ned and he told him to bring the bag of gold home to his wife Molly and keep the bag of silver for himself. Ned said he would do so. Then John said he would go on and seek a better fortune and for him to go home and deliver the message. John travelled that whole day and he lay down to sleep under a big tree.
