  2. Paddy Fee of Kilduff was a strong man. One night in Dowra he had a row with a neighbour of his, named Mc Loughlin of Unshinagh. They fought and Mc Loughlin was beaten so badly that he never did a day's work until he died which was a short time. Some time after Fee was coming from rambling in Peter Mc Partlin's also of Kilduff. When he was ashort distance from his own house on Kilduff Hill he met a black dog which made for him. He always carried a stick with him, so he beat away the dog until he conquered him.
    Then the dog became a turkey that flew and flapped at him. He beat the turkey. A donkey came then who kicked and bit him but he beat him off with a stick. Mc Loughlin then came
