    Our people going to market came floating to the shore. But
    But fourteen of that number boys returned home no more.

  2. There was a woman in Corrwhela named Mrs Mc Ternan. She had three sons who were going to seek their fortune. The mother asked her eldest son which would he prefer a half cake and her blessing or a whole cake and no blessing. He took the latter and off he went. At the first Welk he sat down to eat.
    When he was finished eating a dog came up to him and struck him
