    The wild birds in our district are, the robin, the wren, the crow, and the bull-finch. In the summer the cuckoo,and the swallow comes. The swallow and the cuckoo go away in the winter to a warmer country. The other birds do not go away in the winter. They build their nests in a bush or in the ditch, or in a tree and sometimes under the eaves of houses. We can judge the weather by the flight of the swallow. When they fly very low it is the sign of rain. When they fly up very high it is the sign of good weather. The swallow also cries loudly when it is going to rain. When the peacock cries loudly the people say it is a sure sign of rain.
    When the seagulls are flying inland there is going to be a storm. When they are flying towards the sea there is going to be fine weather. When all the seagulls get
