This cemetery or buriel ground, belonged to a small family which were supposed to be poor. The absence of metal indicates poverty.
The Cloanshannon find touches on one of the most difficult problems in Irish pre-History. - The name of my home district is Derrynamuck. There is no family living in it, but ourselves and there are nine persons in our family.
Our family name is not very common. Our house is thatched and slated. the meaning of Derrynamuck is the "Valley of the Pigs" There are no old people living in it now.
