Ar an leathanach seo
- Once an old woman whose nane was Peg the Rook used to lodge in many houses in St Mullins and used to gather all the boys around the Quay and bring them to Ballyknock lane and make them say the Rosary. She had a big stick with her and if any of them laughed she would hit them with it. The people who spend their lives on the road are called travelling folk or tinkers. They frequently call around this district. Two families usually travel together. Most of them live in caravans. Their means of livelihood appears to be making tins, candle sticks, etc. mending pots and pans and trapping and selling rabbits. The best known among them are; the Conors, and Dorans. They are called tinkers because they work in tin. Their caravans are very gaudy and they seem to out-do one(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
