  2. There are four crosses to be found in the old Churchyard in Ferns. These are supposed to belong to the fourteen stations.
    There is also a stone, in the ruined wall, having carvings of a deer and a greyhound.
    There is also in the graveyard, a tombstone inscribed in the Latin.
    In the base of one cross in the churchyard, there is water. this water is believed to cure the toothache. There is a tombstone over the grave of Butler O'Brien
    There are stones in the old grave yard, which bullets pierced in 1798.
