- For curing toothaches, people use pepper and salt and soda. If you had sore eyes and went to the Blessed Well and rubed your eyes three times with the Blessed water you would be cured. For curing hooping cough the people go under a donkey's legs.
For curing worm fever herbs are used. For curing the trush the people put honey and boraic on the childs tongue. For curing warts the people go to the wart well and rub their warts with the water. For curing a burn there is ointment made. Mr. Doyle of Ryland makes it. Mr. Wilson makes a cure out of herbs for stranes.
