    Clothes made locally Feb 18th, 1938.
    There are three tailors in this district. They work at their homes sometimes. They do not travel as formerly from house to house when required The tailors do not stock cloth. I do not know if cloth is spun and woven locally. There are not any sayings or traditions connected with tailors or tailoring. The tailor uses a table, a sewing machine, a thimble and a scissors and needles. Shirts are made in the house. There are no accounts of shirts of cloth made from flax grown locally. Socks and stockings are knitted locally. The thread is not spun in the homes. There are no spinning-wheels in the district.
